Bolognese sauce is one of the most versatile recipes. It’s family friendly, not expensive to make and is so darn tasty. I cook a batch of Bolognese sauce about once a fortnight and make one of many dishes with it. I usually double or triple the quantity that I make and I freeze the extra sauce in batches to use another time. This particular Bolognese sauce recipe is loaded with vegetables that the kids can’t see so it is a good meal for picky eaters
Nothing beats a bowl of good old fashioned “Spag Bol”. Cook your bolognese sauce in advance or take a pre-cooked batch from the freezer and reheat it while your pasta is on the boil. Serve it with loads of parmesan cheese.
